The Story Behind Fendax
Fendax was born from pain, perseverance, and purpose.
My name is Cassy, and I come from a life of struggle. I grew up in Haiti in a home full of chaos. My father was abusive, and my mother—though strong—often didn’t have the power to stop him. My four siblings and I lived in survival mode. Eating was hard, sleeping was harder, and love was something we had to imagine. Still, we hung on.
Eventually, my mother separated from my father, but the damage had already shaped our lives. As adults, my siblings and I became scattered across different places, each trying to find a better life—but even now, they still struggle back home. Haiti remains a place of hardship, and I carry the pain of not being able to help them the way I want to. I can barely make it through some days myself, but I never stop dreaming of lifting us all out of this.
My own journey hasn’t been any easier. I became a mother to my first child while in a toxic, abusive relationship. Desperate to escape, I left Brazil and made a difficult, dangerous journey to the United States—traveling by plane, by taxi, and even on foot, going days without food. I believed it would get better there. It didn’t.
I got pregnant again by a man who was absent and battling alcoholism. He’s never been involved with our child. And so, once again, I found myself starting over—this time in Canada—with two beautiful boys depending on me.
Now I’m trying something different.
Fendax is my leap of faith.
It’s a dropshipping brand I created out of necessity, out of vision, and out of sheer determination to make life better—not just for me, but for my children, my siblings, and my mother who still live in Haiti. I dream of the day I can send support, build something meaningful, and offer them hope when they’ve had so little.
Every design I create through Fendax carries my story. It reflects struggle, power, rebellion, and the strength it takes to keep going when life keeps breaking you down. This brand is not just a business—it’s my testimony.
Fendax is for the fighters. The dreamers. The ones building from nothing. It’s for anyone who knows what it feels like to hit rock bottom and still reach for the light.
I don’t have much, but I have faith. And I believe this is just the beginning.
